8apps
I am trying the 8apps set of lightweight online tools. Handshake is the SNS and is billed as
... the place to meet your next friend, programmer, project manager, accountant, interface designer and more. By adding someone as a contact here, you can collaborate online in 8apps. Handshake is social networking with purpose.Radar (aka spider) charts are popular in Japan, and it is interesting to see how they are being used here.
This could hit a little closer to home than I would wish. If I disappear suddenly from Handshake, you'll know a lightweight SNS does not necessarily need to be anodyne.

Talking about 8apps,
I thought I'd quit using this one,
but since then two person had sent me to
add them as a contact.And I did.
This could be a nice app
especially who are interested in Japanese culture,or would like to get a Web-Tech-Job in Tokyo,and so on.
I'm gonna try to use "Handshake" so far.

Hi. Thanks for the comment. 8Apps is interesting for me in that in the first few days after it launched I knew a few of the people on it who I haven't had contact in a while. Since then, it's grown and I am not trying out the new app www.pikki.jp
Hi Ben, I guess you know it has launched. Also Pikki isn't supported either, but Sketchplanet.com is working well.
